Will this work on my Jibo?
Phoenix is built for Jibo hardware. Your next step depends on what your robot does now and how it is connected. The guide is the current setup path; if you are unsure about your robot’s state, ask before changing it.
Does Jibo need to be modified?
Yes. The setup path prepares Jibo so the connection script can reach him over your Wi-Fi and point him at Phoenix. The guide explains that preparation and the update that follows. Read it before plugging in or running a command.
What does it cost?
Phoenix is free to use, with no subscriptions or fees in the Skill Store. An optional integration can need a separate service, account or device. Its listing explains those requirements.
Are all the apps ready to install?
No. A public listing can say Coming soon. That means it is there to explain the app, not to claim it is published. Store installation also does not link an outside account or set up another device for you.
Where does my data go?
If you use jibo.io, robot data passes through and is stored on Phoenix’s servers so the service can work. The website and console use aggregate Google Analytics page measurement. Read Privacy for the details. Running your own server is a separate option.
Is it finished?
Phoenix is an ongoing service. Real robots connect, hold conversations and update themselves here. Not every skill and software combination has been tested on a real robot, and remaining gaps are tracked in the open. The status section is the place to check.
Is this an official Jibo service?
No. Phoenix is independent, with no affiliation to or endorsement by Jibo, Inc., its successors or any current rights holder. Jibo names the hardware this software works with.
Where can I get a hand?
Start with the guide. If a step does not match what you see, ask in Phoenix Discord. Bring the exact error and the step you reached. Do not share passwords or pairing codes in a public message.
