Start with what you can see
If your Jibo powers on, you have somewhere to start. A quiet robot, a setup screen and a robot that will not boot are different situations. They do not need the same next step.
Phoenix brings back the cloud service Jibo uses to understand speech, answer and manage your household. It is software, not a repair for a damaged power supply or a broken motor.
He turns on, but he stopped talking
That is what Phoenix is here for. Start with the setup guide. It walks through preparing your Jibo, connecting him to Phoenix and checking that he is back online.
Your robot needs to be prepared for the connection. This is not just an account you create on a website. Read the guide before changing anything on Jibo.
He is stuck on a screen
Write down what the screen says, and where you were in setup when it happened. If there is an error, keep its exact wording. That is more useful than trying a few resets and hoping one works.
If Jibo is not booting normally, ask for help before treating it as a cloud connection problem. Do not erase or flash an image just because he is quiet.
A little help. A clear next step.
You do not have to work it out alone. Open the guide, or ask in Phoenix Discord. Say what Jibo shows and which step you reached. Keep passwords, pairing codes and private household information out of public posts.
Once he is connected, explore what Phoenix brings back.
